KYV is built around source transparency. Candidate and election records may be assembled from official filings, public election offices, candidate campaign websites, public candidate statements, and licensed civic-data providers.

Current Montana beta sources

• Montana Secretary of State candidate filing records and election resources.
• Candidate campaign websites and public candidate materials where available.
• Ballotpedia or other licensed civic-data sources if/when integrated under applicable license terms.

Source labels

Candidate profiles should distinguish official filing data from campaign statements, public biography materials, and KYV summaries.

Corrections

Correction requests should identify the candidate/race, the challenged statement, and a source link supporting the correction.
